Gorkha, Kathmandu and Pokhara Tour Itinerary
Day 1
Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport you will be welcomed and transferred to your hotel in Kathmandu. After check in and some time to relax you will receive a brief orientation about the upcoming journey. If time permits you may explore the vibrant streets of Thamel known for its restaurants, handicraft shops and lively atmosphere. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.
Day 2
After breakfast enjoy a full day sightseeing of Kathmandus UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Visit the sacred Pashupatinath Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva with opportunities to observe spiritual rituals along the banks of the Bagmati River. Continue to Boudhanath Stupa one of the worlds largest Buddhist stupas and an important pilgrimage site for Tibetan Buddhists. Later visit Swayambhunath Stupa known as Monkey Temple atop a hill offering panoramic views of Kathmandu Valley. Return to your hotel in the evening. Meals included Breakfast. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 3
After breakfast drive through scenic countryside to the historic town of Gorkha birthplace of King Prithvi Narayan Shah the unifier of modern Nepal. The drive is approximately 5 to 6 hours offering countryside views. In Gorkha visit the magnificent Gorkha Durbar Palace and the famous Gorakhnath Temple located on a hilltop providing spectacular mountain and valley views. Explore the local bazaar and experience authentic Nepali culture. Meals included Breakfast. Overnight in Gorkha.
Day 4
After breakfast continue the scenic drive to Pokhara Nepals lakeside city surrounded by the Annapurna Himalayas. The drive is approximately 4 to 5 hours. Upon arrival check in to your hotel and enjoy a relaxing evening walking around Lakeside. You may also enjoy boating on Phewa Lake during sunset. Meals included Breakfast. Overnight in Pokhara.
Day 5
Start the day with an excursion to Sarangkot optional sunrise for breathtaking views of Annapurna Machhapuchhre Fishtail Dhaulagiri and surrounding peaks. Continue a full day of Pokhara sightseeing visiting Davis Falls Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave International Mountain Museum Phewa Lake Tal Barahi Temple Bindhyabasini Temple and Seti River Gorge. Spend the evening relaxing along the lakeside. Meals included Breakfast. Overnight in Pokhara.
Day 6
After breakfast drive back to Kathmandu following the scenic Prithvi Highway alongside rivers and rolling hills. The drive is approximately 7 to 8 hours. Upon arrival in Kathmandu enjoy free time for shopping exploring local markets or relaxing before your departure. Meals included Breakfast. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 7
After breakfast depending on your flight schedule you will be transferred to Tribhuvan International Airport for your onward journey with memories of Nepals rich history spirituality natural beauty and warm hospitality. Meals included Breakfast.
